This August, CARITAS will serve 1,000+ people in need through a free, one-day medical clinic - delivering care to those who otherwise have none.

What the Medical Camp Will Provide

1. Free Dental Care

Many suffer daily from untreated dental issues.

• Pain relief (extractions, infections, fillings)
  
• Treatment of gum disease
• Prescription of antibiotics
  
• Restorative care & preventative education
  

2. Free Eye Care (Ophthalmology)

Poor vision impacts school, work, and daily life.

• Vision screenings for children and adults
• Diagnosis of common eye conditions
• Treatment of infections and inflammation
• Prescription glasses when needed

3. Free General Medical Care

Treating common illnesses and restoring health.

• Diagnosis and treatment of illness
• Medications for infections and chronic conditions
• Immediate care and health education for children and families
• Follow-up guidance and support

• 27 trained medical professionals already signed up to serve at the camp

• 20 medical students from our CARITAS graduate network

• Volunteer medical professionals and missioners visiting from outside Uganda
