Immaculate was dropped by the mother on the road side when she was about a year old. She was picked up by an old lady who she calls grandmother. This kind lady raised Immaculate for about six years but was unable to send her to school, so she put her in the care of another elderly woman. This new guardian tried her best to support her for another five years but due to her great age, was forced to seek help from local religious sisters.
Immaculate lived with the sisters in their convent, but they couldn’t afford to give her the secondary education she needed, so she turned to CARITAS for support. She was able to receive a boarding school sponsorship for two years, but needs a new one so that she can one day achieve her dream of becoming a nurse after she finishes her education.
To help Immaculate go to boarding school, she will need $120/month from one sponsor, or $60/month from two sponsors.
