Scott Giblin

My name is Scott Giblin.  I live with my wife in Piermont, New York. I’m a retired Social Worker, having directed  Community Mental Health programs in Detroit and homeless shelters in New York City.

This September, my volunteer journey will take me to the Caritas mission in Uganda, just outside of Kampala.  It’s exciting to have this opportunity to work with the children and staff, providing counseling, support, and  English instruction. I’m blessed to be able to share my experience and knowledge with the wonderful people in the Caritas program.

I plan to stay on the grounds of the Caritas during my one-month mission.  The travel costs for the Uganda trip are expensive. Your help and assistance to help defray some of these costs would be much appreciated. May God bless you.  Thank you.
