Theresa’s father abandoned the family and left them in a small rental house which her mother (who was unemployed) couldn’t afford to pay for. As a result, the landlord chased them away. They went to live with the grandparents who are peasant farmers. They grow enough food to feed the family and Theresa’s mother is trying to make some samosas to sell and earn some money to support her children somehow. She is only earning about $10 USD a month, and it’s the only income they have. Theresa has been supported by CARITAS FOR CHILDREN for three years and the sponsorship caused a positive restoration of the mother's hope for her children to acquire education. Un fortunately, There lost her sponsor ship and without immediate assistance , she might not get back to school.
