Sarah lives with her parents and two siblings. Her parents are peasant farmers who work on a small two-acre piece of land where they grow crops such as coffee, bananas, beans, cassava, and potatoes.
Because the land is limited in size, the harvest is mainly used for the family’s daily food needs, leaving very little surplus income to cover school fees and other educational requirements.
Sarah attends a privately owned school and is a promising student who performs well in her classwork. Despite the financial challenges at home, she shows dedication and a strong desire to continue learning.
With consistent support, Sarah would be able to remain in school without interruption, focus on her studies, and successfully complete her education.
