In July 2019, Patrick's life took a challenging turn when his father passed away. He began living with his paternal aunt, who works as a Clinical Officer. Patrick's aunt, despite her best efforts, faces considerable difficulties in supporting not only her own children but also her brother's children, including Patrick. Balancing the needs of both sets of children, she works tirelessly to provide for them, but the financial strain is immense.

One of the most significant challenges Patrick, his siblings, and his cousins face is the inability to consistently pay for their school fees by the required deadlines. As a result, they often find themselves being sent home from school until the fees can be paid. While his aunt recognizes the importance of education, she also faces the harsh reality of needing to provide food and shelter for the family.

Despite their challenging circumstances, Patrick's family remains committed to the value of education. They are actively seeking any form of assistance that could help Patrick and his siblings continue their studies. This family's situation is dire, and they are open to any support that would enable Patrick to pursue his education and work towards a brighter future.

About my country:
Uganda
Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda is located on the shores of Lake Victoria in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda's population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
