Oliver’s father passed on due AIDS leaving the family in a miserable state because the wife had contracted the disease too. The mother is still alive but with complaints of ill health almost on a daily basis. She has been lucky enough because she is able to access the Ant- retrieval virus drugs that have assisted in combating some of the signs on the body.

Oliver’s mother keeps some domestic animals and has a small plot of land where she grows some food that is consumed by the family. The income from the two activities is just for allowing the family have access to some essentials like salt, sugar leaving the tuition not catered for.

With the seven children in the family, there is great need to come to their rescue from the biting poverty. Oliver goes to one of the privately owned schools and her academic work is promising. She needs to be accorded assistance to aid in alleviating the hard time being experienced. All her efforts at school are geared towards becoming a teacher
