Nicole doesn’t live with her mother, but not because her mother doesn’t want her! They have had a very difficult life – Nicole was conceived when her mother, who was still a young student at the time, was taken advantage of by a stranger. Nicole’s brave mother, who loves her daughter very much, dropped out of school to try and support her.

Having no job training or education beyond housework, Nicole’s mother got a job as a housemaid, but the family she works for did not allow her to bring her child with her! Instead, Nicole lives with her mother’s sister while her mother works to earn enough money to provide for her.

Nicole’s mother wants to give her opportunities that she never had, by making sure that she completes her education. She is a social little girl who wants to become a teacher when she grows up, but she has not been able to attend school at all yet! Sponsorship will allow her to attend school and give her a stable environment in which to learn.
