Malik lives with both of his parents in a small two-roomed staff house at a local school, where he has grown up alongside other children from the teachers’ community.

His father previously worked as a minibus driver, transporting passengers between the village and town. However, the vehicle developed serious mechanical problems and could no longer operate, leaving the family without a stable source of income.

Malik’s mother works as a primary school teacher, but her modest salary is often not enough to meet the family’s basic needs and keep Malik in school consistently. Despite these difficulties, she continues to work hard to support his education and has even made special arrangements with the school at times in order to help cover expenses.
