Janat and her five siblings live with her parents. Like so many other Ugandans, her parents struggle to provide for their children beyond their basic needs! Her father is a peasant and her mother is a teacher at the local school and earns a very small salary. They hope for their children to receive an education but are unable to pay the tuition fees.

Janat is a little girl, but she has big dreams! She hopes one day to become a doctor, because she wants to become the first medical professional in her family! She is inspired to pursue medicine by the many people she sees suffering from conditions in her community who are unable to receive treatment.

Sponsorship will not only set Janat on the path to achieve her dream, it will enable her to improve the lives of many others in her community, creating a ripple effect so often seen when spreading God’s love through sponsorship.
