Faith is one of 4 children. Their family is very poor, as their father is a local door to door compound cleaner in their village. His job earns him about $25 per month because of the general low income levels of his clients. This career is not always consistent, and sometimes he goes days or weeks without a paying job.
Their mother is a small scale peasant farmer, but this job doesn't bring in any income because all of the crops she harvests are used at home to feed the family. Even with all of the work she puts in, the food she brings home still isn't enough to sustain the family, and the children often go hungry.
Faith is a hopeful and smart girl who dreams of becoming a doctor someday. Sadly, this dream seems out of reach due to her family's financial position. Faith's parents cannot afford to send their children to school, which is a significant roadblock to the children's futures. Her parents want their children to thrive and succeed, so they have reached out to CARITAS For Children for possible assistance. Support of any kind towards the education of Faith and her other siblings is warmly welcomed and appreciated.
