David Onah comes from a farming family that has faced increasing hardship due to ongoing insecurity in their community. His father is a peasant farmer, but providing for the family has become much more difficult as armed Fulani herdsmen have repeatedly allowed their livestock to destroy the crops of local Christian farmers. When farmers try to resist or report these incidents, they often face threats of violence against themselves and their families.
After their own crops were damaged, David's family lost much of the harvest they depended on for food and income. Without a reliable source of earnings, meeting everyday needs and paying school fees has become a constant challenge.
Despite these difficulties, David's parents remain committed to his education and hope he will have the opportunity to stay in school. David is eager to continue learning, and with the support of a sponsor, he would be able to attend school consistently and continue building a brighter future.
