Christine’s father died when she was still young, she has a sister and they both stay with their mother (a widow) The mother is self-employed, she sells tomatoes and onions in a simple village kiosk, but she does not earn much money to cater for the family’s needs and school fees.

The mother survived an accident where a number of the passengers died and she survived with chest injury but getting better. she struggles to take care of her children without support of the family members since their father is no more. Christine has a dream of becoming a teacher in future, but her dream may not come true since she at times miss school due to fees balances. The mother is kindly requesting for some help for her children to study through Caritas for Children.
