Chidimma’s family has faced extraordinary difficulty since 2021 when her father passed away leaving their family to fend for themselves. Chidimma’s mother is dealing with the grief of losing her husband while also trying desperately to figure out how to support herself and her children.

Between paying rent and basic expenses like food, Chidimma’s mother is barely making ends meet. She isn’t able to make enough money to send her children to school, and fears for their futures. She understands the value of education, and knows that without it, her children will not learn valuable life skills.

Although Chidimma’s life is full of uncertainty and hardship, she is a joyful child who loves singing and dancing. Attending school will give her opportunities to make friends who encourage her to learn and grow.  Chidimma’s mother hopes to find support for her daughter’s education through Caritas for Children.
