Bosco’s parents are alive, and both are peasant farmers. His mother vends harvests from her small garden and sometimes buys from farmers while his father keeps himself-busy in the garden and sometimes cleaning rich peoples’ compounds.
The little money earned by both parents is used to sustain the home and clear fees for their children.
The parents’ activities are not so dependable in terms of income to the family because some of these products from the gardens are seasonal. Usually, the mother fails to get from her garden and that means she buys from farmers. The income will be so minimal to allow them have a decent living which will be characterized by doing away with some meals of the day and failure to clear school fees balances.
Bosco and the siblings go to a nearby school which is located in their home area. He is an active learner and always ready to embark on any work assigned to him. He wants to be a Motor Vehicle mechanic if he gets the chance to stay in school.
