Benjamin lives with his grandmother after being abandoned by his mother. His father left when Benjamin was just four years old, and his whereabouts remain unknown. His grandmother, now elderly, has no stable source of income. The family lives in extreme poverty—often struggling just to find enough food to eat.

In hopes of giving her grandson a better future, Benjamin’s grandmother turned to CARITAS For Children for help. Thanks to a generous sponsor, Benjamin was able to attend school for eight years. This support brought renewed hope into his life.
