Angel's parents separated and her mother moved to a far district with her two children but later, it was discovered that she was homeless, moving around with her two malnourished children (Angel and Vanessa).

The community wanted to bring the children back to their father so that they would be better provided for, but their father too was found in a bad state. He had become a drunkard and drug abuser with another wife and was not providing for his original family.

It was not a safe place for Angel and her little sister Vanessa. Thankfully her paternal aunt, a a peasant farmer, decided to take responsibility of the two children in addition to her own children.

Angel was sponsored for some years but unfortunately the sponsor couldn't continue supporting her due to financial difficulties. Angel is in great need a new sponsor to finish her education, and hopes to become a nurse when she grows up.
