Alvin Kasirye
Alvin is a brother to Allan Kabuusu and Julius Kisuule. The father left the home leaving behind the children and their mother. The mother does some farming but the food they get is only and somehow enough for home consumption. Alvin is in great need of support in order to be able to go to school so that he can reach his dreams.

St. Francis of Assisi (Lugazi)
In the Lugazi Diocese, CARITAS finds some of the poorest families in all of Uganda. Because of St. Francis of Assisi's great love for the poor, he is the patron of this community. We pray for his intercession so that more children in this diocese have a chance to overcome the poverty that they have always known.
