Vienna Gertrude Nassozi
Vienna recently lost her longtime sponsor and requires a new one to continue at her boarding school.
Vienna Gertrude lives with her mother and sister after her mother left an abusive marriage to provide a safer home for her children. Since then, she has worked hard to support the family on her own.
To earn a living, Vienna's mother sells secondhand clothing, but her modest income is not enough to cover the family's basic needs and school expenses.
Vienna is a bright and hardworking student who enjoys learning and is eager to continue her education. With the support of a sponsor, she would be able to remain in school and continue working toward a brighter future.

In the Lugazi Diocese, CARITAS finds some of the poorest families in all of Uganda. Because of St. Francis of Assisi's great love for the poor, he is the patron of this community. We pray for his intercession so that more children in this diocese have a chance to overcome the poverty that they have always known.
