Sandra is the half-sister of Justine Namuyanja. Her father abandoned the family and has not provided any support, leaving their mother to carry the responsibility of raising the children on her own. With very limited resources, she is unable to afford the cost of schooling for all of her children. CARITAS is already assisting some of them, but Sandra and two of her siblings remain without educational support.

Sandra comes from a family of eight children. The family does not have a permanent home and has moved from place to place as they try to find ways to meet their basic needs. Sandra’s older sisters are now grown and have gone out on their own, but the younger children still depend on their mother.

For Sandra, boarding school would provide much more than an education. It would give her a stable place to live, regular meals, and the opportunity to focus on her studies without the uncertainty of moving from one place to another.

CARITAS For Children is seeking sponsors for Sandra and her other siblings who remain without educational support. With a sponsor’s help, Sandra can continue her education, develop her abilities, and have greater opportunities for her future.
