Milly Namugambwa
Milly got a sponsorship opportunity and this helped her start education until S.4 when her long time sponsor was not able to continue supporting her. Milly is a few years to the finish line, her father passed away when she was about 5 years leaving her with her mother and two siblings. Her mother who is HIV positive and sickly was not able to take care of Milly so, she sent her to the grandma who is a peasant with other grandchildren and unable to support Milly in school. She need to finish her school and badly in need of a new sponsor.
Milly is a happy and talented girl whose dream is to finish her studies and help her community with her profession. She has five years to finish school and be a self reliant citizen to be able to help others in her community as her dream.

St. Francis of Assisi (Lugazi)
In the Lugazi Diocese, CARITAS finds some of the poorest families in all of Uganda. Because of St. Francis of Assisi's great love for the poor, he is the patron of this community. We pray for his intercession so that more children in this diocese have a chance to overcome the poverty that they have always known.
