Keirah and her twin sister have been living with their grandmother since their father passed away from a disease of unknown origin. Their mother now struggles to support the family and has moved to a nearby town to earn money by vending juice made from passion fruit, mangoes, and oranges.

Keirah's grandmother, in her late seventies and with deteriorating health, is unable to provide financially for the children due to her health issues.

Keirah attends a privately owned school near her grandmother's home. She is a dedicated student who tries her best to excel in her academic studies. However, her regular attendance is hindered by the lack of school requirements, including tuition fees. With assistance, Keirah could complete her education and fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse.
