Israel is a curious and bright young boy who loves exploring the world around him. He is eager to learn and always ready to participate in any activity given to him, whether at home or at school.

Israel lives with his aging grandmother in a small, single-room home in a remote village of Uganda. His grandmother does her best to care for him, growing crops in a small garden behind their home. The harvest they collect is used entirely for food, leaving nothing extra to sell or save.

Although Israel attends school, his attendance is often inconsistent because he lacks essential supplies such as a school uniform, books, pencils, and the tuition fees required to remain enrolled. These challenges make it difficult for him to keep up, even though he is eager to learn.
