Hilaris was sponsored since 2018 but sadly she lost her sponsor in March 2023. She is 12 years old and is still in serious need to remain at the Orphanage. We will support her as long as we can but we do need help to pay her fees so that she can continue to get an education, food, shelter, etc. at the Carmelite orphanage and school. 

Hilaris Esmeralda is a very affectionate, friendly, intelligent girl, who is now in the 6th grade. The sisters say that she is a very respectful child, she studies hard and is dedicated to taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity that she is given. 

We would love for her to continue to stay with the Carmelites because she comes from a very difficult situation. Her father is unknown and her mother was addicted to drugs from a very young age. Thanks to her grandfather she was brought to the Orphanage many years ago because he knew that she needed a healthy and safe environment to grow up in.

Hilaris feels very happy in the sister's place. She is progressing in her formation and in her integrity as a person. If given the chance, she would like to be in the medical field one day to help people who are in need. 

Hilaris will need one sponsor at $90 USD/month or 2 sponsors at $45 USD/month to continue living and learning at the Orphanage with the sisters.
