Elizabeth has faced many challenges at a young age. Her parents, both living with HIV, have struggled to meet her basic needs. After their separation, Elizabeth went to live with her aunt, who cared for her until sadly passing away in 2020. Since then, Elizabeth has been living with her grandmother in the village, who does her best to provide for several grandchildren despite limited resources.

Elizabeth is a bright and motivated student, but financial hardship puts her education at risk. While her school has been offering support, it is unable to continue helping all the children in need.

Elizabeth and her grandmother remain hopeful that, with sponsorship through CARITAS For Children, she can continue her education and work toward a brighter future.
