Audrey stays with her mother and two siblings. The father abandoned the home after a misunderstanding with his wife and his whereabouts are not known ever since he left.  The mother, who is unemployed struggles to sustain the family and at the same time look for ways to clear tuition fees for her two school going children.

She washes clothes for families that need her services usually in the morning, in the afternoon she  digs in her small garden and vends some tomatoes and onions late in the evening. Her work makes her get so tired, yet the income is so low. In many instances, she gets sick and the solution is to visit the doctor who at the end of it all requires to meet a cost for treatment yet she has no money.

Audrey goe to school and is a promising learner in all fields of study. If any assistance is extended to her, she will be able to realise her gream of being a doctor.
