Anne Lamunu
Anne stays with her single mother who sells Church items like roseries by the side of the road near St. Paul Church in Mukono. The whereabouts of the father are unknown as he abandoned the family.
The small income generated from the sale of the church items is barely enough for the mother to feed her two girls Galgani and Anne.
Anne attends school as often as she can, but she and her sister are often sent home to collect school requirements which her mother cannot provide. When this happens, she has to wait until her mother is able to afford what is needed at school. This process can take weeks.
Anne is a sweet girl who loves to dance. She needs assistance so that she can continue her education.

St. Francis of Assisi (Lugazi)
In the Lugazi Diocese, CARITAS finds some of the poorest families in all of Uganda. Because of St. Francis of Assisi's great love for the poor, he is the patron of this community. We pray for his intercession so that more children in this diocese have a chance to overcome the poverty that they have always known.
