Alvin Tendo lives with his parents in a small village located north of Lake Victoria in Uganda. His mother works as a copy typist at a local technical school, while his father is currently unemployed and continuously searching for work. Despite their efforts, the family struggles with severe poverty, making it difficult to meet their daily needs and cover their children's educational expenses.
The mother's income is barely enough to sustain the household, often leading to the family being unable to pay school fees for their children. This financial hardship has resulted in Alvin missing several days of school, causing him to fall behind in his studies and produce poor academic results. The inconsistency in his education has also taken a toll on Alvin's morale, leading him to lose hope in his academic pursuits.
However, Alvin has the potential to be a great student. With regular attendance and consistent support, he could excel in his studies. Any assistance provided to Alvin would enable him to attend school regularly, restore his confidence, and allow him to focus on achieving his academic and career goals.
