CARITAS Novena for Children

CARITAS Novena for Children

Pray the Novena For Children With Us

As Christians, we are called to love each other with the love that Jesus Christ taught us. At CARITAS For Children, we invite you to join us in praying the Novena For Children.

A novena is nine days of prayer usually asking God for a specific intention or cause. Novena prayers consist of individual and group prayers. In addition to these novena prayers, attending Mass, praying with Mary the Rosary, and other means of prayer can also be done. Fasting and giving alms through works of charity can also be part of a novena.

Novenas are a tradition of the Church with roots going back to the Apostles. His disciples spent nine days in prayer after Jesus' ascension into heaven. At the end of the nine days, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, to change his disciples and the world forever.

It is this tradition that guides us to pray novenas to this day. We pray to Jesus to send us his guidance, to love and protect our children.

In addition to ally, our prayers in this we also have are joined by our partners, the Brides of the Lamb Sisters. Located in the Kampala Archdiocese in Uganda, the sisters pray nonstop, 24/7, 168 hours per week for these and more intentions.

Join us as we pray for the children of the world in advance of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. CARITAS For Children will send you daily prayers so you can pray this novena with us and the Brides of the Lamb Sisters.
