CARITAS first met Fleurly when on our last viisit to Haiti. Fleurly wants to go to school to become a nurse. She started in September of 2017 but now will lose her place without support because of insufficient tuition balances, which her single-mom and sole supporter can no longer pay for. Fleurly is a bright young woman with a plan for her life and is actively working to accomplish her goals. Side note: She is seriously committed to succeed in her education as soon as possible. She is very realistic about her situation she is 25 and very consciously looking forward towards her future. She mentioned that she would like to take on some additional course work in English. This course would make her more employable, with that qualification, Fleurly could earn a higher than usual income.
