Jaron’s father abandoned his family and left the area; they don't know where he is. His mother was unemployed at the time and had no formal job training but was forced to find work to support her children.
Jaron’s mother now fries and sells cassava on the streets of Nkokonjeru to earn some money to provide for them. She also sometimes digs for people in their gardens in exchange for food, but all this hard work is not enough to afford the fees to keep her children in school.
Jaron badly needs sponsorship if he is going to be able to continue his schooling, and he dreams of becoming a lawyer when he grows up if he is able to complete his education. Jaron is kind to others and enjoys studying math in school. His sister Eron Akanjuna is also available for sponsorship.
