Mercy’s father passed away when she was a baby. Mercy’s mother, a seamstress, was left to care for her baby daughter and two sons all alone. She is unable to pay for her children’s education, but she works very hard to provide for their basic needs such as food and clothing. They are all in a vulnerable situation.
It is vital for Mercy to receive sponsorship to attend boarding school so that she can be properly cared for and educated. There she will receive the tools she needs to build a better life for herself, because her mother simply cannot provide those for her. Mercy hopes to become a nurse when she grows up if she receives an education and care for the sick and needy.
To help Mercy go to boarding school, she will need $120/month from one sponsor, or $60/month from two sponsors.
