Jane’s mother abandoned the family because her father had little money and couldn’t provide for their needs. She left her four children behind and ran away. Jane and her siblings live with their father who works as a local teacher, earning about $30 USD a month. This is not enough to provide for all his children’s needs as well as school, so sponsorships will be needed to help them go to school.
Jane is a kind little girl who likes to jump rope and she hopes to become a nun when she grows up. Her brother Joseph Crispine Matovu is also available for sponsorship.
To help Jane go to boarding school, she will need $120/month from one sponsor.
