Mother studied up to Primary seven and dropped out of school due to lack of school fees and she got married to Maria’s father but after delivery the father disappeared (abandoned the mother and the baby) as he never gave any support to the family and it is the mother who struggles to get school fees and other necessities to support the family. She learnt doing hairdressing from a friend and she does hair painting to some people in the village and some time does garden work in other people’s garden to feed Maria and sustain the family but has reached a level where she cannot support Maria in school as well as paying the room where they sleep hence seeking for support from caritas for Children.

Maria is a Careful girl who takes any situation simple and easy and would like to become a fashionist to create a new design in the world.
