Florence's parents were struggling as poor peasant farmers, relying solely on small-scale agriculture for their livelihood. Florence's mother made the difficult decision to leave her father, significantly impacting Florence and her siblings. Although her father works tirelessly on the farm to provide for his children, it's becoming increasingly challenging for him to support their education alone.

Despite their hardships, the children's school has shown compassion by allowing them to continue attending classes while their father tries to improve their situation. However, due to the ongoing economic challenges in Uganda, the school's ability to extend this support is limited, and they now require payment for the children's education.

Florence stands out as a bright and eager learner, deeply committed to her studies. Unfortunately, her parents are unable to afford the necessary school fees. In light of these circumstances, Florence is reaching out and welcoming any form of assistance that can enable her to pursue her education and continue her academic journey. Your support could be a crucial stepping stone towards a brighter future for Florence.

About my country:
Uganda
Known as the "Pearl of Africa," Uganda is located on the shores of Lake Victoria in the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Since emerging from decades of civil war and the devastation of AIDs, estimates indicate that 48% of Uganda's population is below the age of 15. Young children suffer disproportionately in the struggle to access healthcare, education, and clean water.
